PADMA Lilac

Lotus Sanskrit origin meaning "lotus". A name rich in Hindu tradition as the alternate name for the Goddess Lakshmi, the embodiment of beauty and charm. According to Hindu tradition a lotus holding the god Brahma arose from the navel of the god Vishnu. The name Padma is used in Hindu texts to refer to several characters including goddess Lakshmi and the hero Rama.
